7:30 - ran to bus stop (for bus 196) like mad, together with Gladies, Mai, Cielo and Yoanna

7:31 - missed the FIRST 196

7:32 - ran to the opposite bus stop (for bus 197) like mad

7:33 - missed the FIRST 197

7:34 - screamed and ran like mad up the stairs when seeing the second 196 came

7:35 - missed the SECOND 196

7:36 - walked back to the opposite bus stop, almost died 'cos of unfitness (resulted from no exercising for nearly a month)

7:45 - catched the SECOND 197

8:50 - walked to VS

9:00 - registration stuffs for the workshop

9:00 - 10:30 - boring talks and games

10:30 - break

10:45 - 12:00 - boring talks and games (again!)

12:00 - lunch

this is roughly wat has happened to me since morning.. hixhix.. im really really tired now.. omgosh i wanna die alr.. oh no, i shldnt complain so much! lets think of the positive side of the matter.. okae.. actually the workshop wasnt that boring.. at least my group was quite fun, thanks to Lex (omgosh he talked non-stop abt random topics throughout the workshop!).. we laughed a lot! hahas :D and we didnt really learn much abt project management, but we actually spent time bonding with each other! (honestly asean comm isnt that bonded! that's why we need bonding!) :D

anw.. enough for the workshop! yayyyyy! my exams are over! oops, actually i still hv SPA on Tuesday! but its just SPA, so its okae! lols :D im even happier cos i hv e feeling that i will pass physics, for the first time in my jc life! its quite surprising that i did better for physics than any other subjects.. hahas.. i studied till 2am the night before wat.. now i realise that studying really makes a difference! yayyyyy! my passion for physics is back! :)

oh yeah.. another reason that makes me happy is that i hv an aim for my education for the first time in my life.. NYU :) this shall be my aim since now! i will study damn hard to achieve this aim! yeah, trust me! i will study damn hard to achieve this aim! erm, actually this is not the first time that i hv an aim for my education.. my aim last year was ACJC, and i achieved it! oh wells, i sincerely hope that i will achieve this aim too! hahas i noe that hoping alone wont help! that's why i will study hard! NYU :)

one last thing to say before i go to bed.. i met sharleen for 5-10 minites todae.. it was so nice of her to give me jenang! she always knows i love jenang! i love sharleen too! i miss those days we spent together in SC and OH.. now i have classmates and hostelmates who are indonesians also.. but they are just somehow different from sharleen and the others in SC and OH! haiz.. suddenly i miss Ung and Sherdine like nuts! what are they doing now? hope they're doing well in Thailand and the Philippines..

my life's brilliant!

yes! im over the moon now. i have no school until next Wednesday. i can watch prison break. i've got lots and lots of food to eat. life's good, man!
i guess thats to make up for the one week of suffering. well, not that i really mugged real hard. its just the sleep and food deprivation part. you cant feel good if you dont have enough sleep, you dont have time to eat or you just simply lose your appetite. Especially after the holidays. Yes I miss those good days. like the day that we had econs in the morning and math in the afternoon. during the break, i couldnt eat cos i was so sleepy everything else just didnt matter. same for today. i thought i'd fall asleep during the test. and it was all because of the coffee i drank at 11pm last night. it was supposed to help me stay awake. the thing is my timing was bad, i only felt the effect at 2 or 3 pm when i was already in bed. of course i didnt wake up to study since i've decided to revise at 5. so i just lied there, eyes wide open, swearing at myself for drinking coffee so late. and the worst part was i couldnt keep my head straight for one second after 5 when i was supposed to study.
but i guess everything went well today. haha. geog wasnt too difficult. at least, my head didnt explode like a stratavolcano which erupts with the Pelean style ( see, i studied a bit). and i didnt burn myself out like the nuees ardente. haha. sounds cheem?? bet you ppl dont understand. well, not like its necessary. it will just help you deal with our beloved mr. ksl. when he catches you, just say the geographic terminology and he'll let you go. he might even favour you if you know all the lithospheric processes. but trust me, you dont want that to be the case. its bad when he knows your name. yes, i learnt my lesson!

term exams are over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

term exams!

term exams started todae.. the two papers i had todae were gp and chem.. as expected, i screwed up both papers.. erm, the gp passages were understandable, but the questions were tough, and the vocabs were those words that i knew, but i couldnt explain them in my own words.. haiz, i couldnt find enough points for the summary, and i wrote only 5 lines for aq which carried 10 marks.. however, i was quite *high* aft gp paper (i have no idea why!).. hixhix.. at least gp wasnt as bad as chem! there were 3 sections in the chem paper: section A (MCQs), section B (structured questions) and section C (essay questions).. i didnt know that there was section C, so throughout the whole one and a half hours, i kept wondering howcome writing paper and graph paper were provided! i only realised that section C existed when there were 5 mins left.. anw i managed to earn 2 marks out of the total of 15 marks of section C.. that was how bad my score for section C would be.. section A and section B would surely be like shit too! after comparing my MCQs with Ha and Quynh, i got 7 MCQs wrong.. and i left a lot of blanks for section B also! -_-"

omgosh! i seriously wanted to study hard and do well for exams, but somehow i just couldnt.. meow.. what is happening? i think this is gonna be the worst exam ever in my whole life.. oh no, i dont wanna get my scholarship terminated.. no la, it wont be terminated that easily, since this is just term exam.. but i dont wanna receive any warnings either! oh wells, i think jc life is really different from secondary school life.. i really need to study seriously! someone is waiting for me in NYU :D okae okae okae.. i promise i'll really focus on my studies after term exams.. i'll finish all the overdue homework and assignments.. i'll pay attention during lectures, and do my tutorials.. i'll be a true scholar from now till the end of A Levels.. (:

i have econs and maths papers tmr.. i think i wont do well for econs, so there's no need to study! erm, and i guess there's nothing to study anw.. so i'll focus on my maths.. i seriously feel so stupid now! i hardly understand maths.. oh no, i dont wanna fail maths! i can fail anything but maths! :( okae okae okae enough! i'll go study maths now!

orchard lovers :)

we're really deeply in love with orchard.. orchard rocks totally completely utterly!

yeah, ha and i went orchard ytd with the intention to study in the library there! however, when we reached, the library was not open yet! (this shows how early we woke up, how fast we travelled there, and thus how eager we were to study! ;p) so we ended shopping in orchard till ..... 4pm! at times, we felt quite guilty, but the temptation to shop was stronger than the guilt.. anyways its undeniable that orchard is the best place to shop and wander around! we juz love orchard!

aft shopping and wasting so much money on new clothes, bags and food, we didnt wanna spend animore time and money in orchard.. so we decided to go back to oldham, to study in the tuition room there! hahas we did actually sit in the tuition room in oldham for hours, but we didnt sit there to study, but to gossip! hahas i guess its juz our nature to be shoppers and gossippers!

having dinner in oldham was super nice! we talked and laughed like how we had talked and laughed every single dinner last year! though the ppl we sat with were different from those we had sat with last year, the homely feeling was still present! oh yeah, during dinner, our juniors kept teasing Gau2.. hixhix i felt quite bad, cos it was partially my fault.. meow.. i think he was angry at me! sorrrrrrrrrry! :( btw the only not-so-nice thing abt eating in oldham was that i saw some of the faces that i didnt wanna see.. hahas :D

okae.. i'd better go study now! i promise i'll study like hell today and tmr, to compensate for the 3 weeks i've wasted in vietnam, and the 2 days i've wasted here! i'll study! really! oh yeah, one more thing before i end this post.. i think im not gonna say 'yes' to ---! i'll focus on my study from now till my As! i will! hahas :D

NUS High School of Mathematics and Science! Im back! :)

hahas this is like, erm, my 1st time blogging using NUS High School of Mathematics and Science's Intranet.. yeah, right, NUS High School of Mathematics and Science! hurrrah! im back to my beloved NUS High School of Mathematics and Science! -_-"

ytd flight was quite smooth.. on the plane, i sat next to Trang and Giang.. hahas the aircraft which we were in was a new one.. it was much bigger, compared to the normal A320, and quite well-equipped with advanced facilities.. before e plane took off, Trang and I were surprisingly paying so much attention to e instructions given not by the air-stewardess as usual but by a screen in front of us.. we felt as if we were some primitive ppl fr some isolated places who were never exposed to technology in our entire life! however, we seriously thought that e instructions were intesting okae? muahahaha :D

on e plane, i spent most of e time telling her abt ---! and she spent most of her time listening to my story.. we stopped our story when e food was served.. haiz i didnt eat much.. dunno why i juz didnt feel like eating ytd.. hixhix.. then we slept like piggies on e plane.. when we woke up, both of us decided that we shld STUDY! so we took out our notes.. right at this very moment, there was an annoucement, which said "attention all passengers! our plane is abt to land.. please return to your seats and fasten your seat belts blah blah blah" arghhhhhhhhh so what to do? we kept our notes, and ... fastened our seat belts! ;p

i finished unpacking in an hour.. that was fast right? :) aft showering, Ha, Trand and i went down for dinner.. i felt so damn weird speaking english aft 3 weeks of exposing to a purely vietnamese speaking environment.. hahas e 1st person i talked to was piggy.. dunno if he could really understand me when i spoke to him.. hahas however, my english improved quite fast, aft we talked a lot and laughed super loudly in e canteen! haiz.. they kept laughing at my fringe, and they said i looked stupid! hixhix.. my fringe looked okie wat.. they were juz not used to seeing me with a fringe!

anw guess what time i woke up this morning? hehe dont be surprised! hahas i woke up at anrd 6am.. that's like damn early! hixhix i dunno why i juz cant sleep! its not cos im homesick, cos im not really homesick that badly recently.. hahas im juz weird! okae okae.. tht's all for now.. gotta go orchard with Ha.. hahas i miss orchard.. hvnt been there for ages! hope we'll hv time to visit Oldham too! i miss tht place like hell! ;(

ppl, changi's not only one of the best airports, it's also one of the best places to study. trust me

Like i blogged yesterday, i went to Changi. to study. haha. i sat in BK in terminal 2. i was like one of the first few ppl there la. and its so weird if i dont buy anything and just sit there. so i bought BK chicken at 9 am. and ended up eating it at like around 2pm. the burger was so cold and hard. haizzzzzz. lucky i brought the Lindt chocolate that Sock gave me. it was damn nice, and guess what, its orange flavour! haha. nothing beats orange. both the fruit and the colour :)

i cant believe i was so caught up in studying that i forgot abt the burger! how can ppl forget to eat???? and i think theres only one possible reason to this. BK is a freaking conducive place to study. and there were a few ppl who went there to study. haha. i was surprised. thought i was the only freak.
oh sth funny happened today when i was waiting for Phuong to exit the gate. i saw her and Vizu so i gave them the chocolate which had been sticking together since it was hot. Vizu took the whole thing so i was yelling at him and telling him not to. somewhere along the way i spat out some vulgarity. and when i said it, he wasnt listening and walked away. so i was facing this woman and swore! surprisingly, she smiled at me. well, to be specific, she was smiling at my Lindt!haha. she asked where i bought it and when i offered her some, she refused to take. phuong saw that and she was like ' no, are you stupid. dont give her.' haha. you know, shes a chocolate addict. so she cant stand seeing it being given away. haha. cant really blame her.

and ppl. i mean trang, quynh and phuong! this is supposed to be OUR blog hello? pls write something!

have you ever seen a person studying in Changi?

I'm gonna be one of those freaks to study in Changi tmr.
I just cant concentrate in my room, too many distractions i guess, like the addictive computer, the inviting bed and the tempting food. Omg, term's coming and I havent really started yet! I'm gonna fail. Badly. :(
ok. its not like i want to travel all the way from west coast to changi just to find a noisy place to study. I have to fetch Phuong and them all tmr. the thing is their flight only lands at around 4pm and im gonna be there from around 9 am. hurrah. so i have about 5 hours to dump all the rubbish that's commonly known as knowledge into my just- vacuumed brain. hope i can do a bit of math and chem there. those 2 are my worst subjects, besides GP, econs and geog.
and i seriously think that i've become stupider since i came to singapore. my math sux now, i've been stoning in almost all chem lectures and tutorials, and asking me to do geog is like asking phuong or quynh to cook! oh sorry, no offense. its just a fact, mere fact :)
yay, tmr everyone will bw back, trang, phuong, Szeching, oh no, not quynh. aiyoh, I've been staying in the hostel alone for so long. cant wait to see you guys again.

Haha, here is my entry after a long time being too lazy to type anything
Well, I've just finished my work attachment today... Well, as you guys might have heard of, ya, it's not so of a very great experience. I mean, the work was quite boring, and the time commitment was too much ( ya, esp when you're kinda stoning 8 hours a day ). The people there were nice though, my mentors and my colleagues were super nice and friendly, and funny also, haha. But, ya, I'm totally absolutely extremely happy since i finished it. And, more importantly, I'm coming home tomorrow !!! Yay !!! Though I'll have to bring back lots of files and notes to mug, it'd still be great, hahahaha

Ooh, and some more, I ended my attachment with a very nice meal !!! Cos we had to attend a naming ceremony for an oil rig, we stayed back for lunch - a buffet. And desserts were like super-duper nice !!! They got fondue, with lots and lots of marshmallows, strawberries, grapes, blah blah. They got cheesecake, oreo cheesecakes, vanilla cream puffs, strawberry, grape and peach tarts... Omg, recalling them makes me feel like drooling >_<

NEway, haha, i'm going home tomorrow, so i'll phone you guys after i got home. And Ha ha, dun miss me, k ? Though I know you'll do <3

Prison break!

so i decided to end my holidays by watching prison break.
I promised myself that i'd start studying for term exam after i finished the show.
well, that means my hols have technically been over. the thing is i havnt actually touched my notes and files!
i woke up everyday at around 9 or 10 am. for those of you who really know me, its not a surprise rite? :)
oh well, not that i feel guilty about sleeping too much. i seriously think that sleeping is necessary and essential for the healthy growth of a youth. and of course the more the better :p
and eating too! so trang and phuong, you guys must do me a favour. help me buy thit bo kho k? haha. u know, its my favourite (besides sleeping). thx a lot (:
